Phnom Penh to Silk Island adventure. Mr Vamtha took us on such an amazing trip from Phnom Penh out to silk island. He collected us at our apartment in the morning and pointed out some landmarks as we travelled through Phnom Penh to Silk Island. After crossing on the ferry we spent the rest of the day seeing sites, meeting local people and taking photos. We had an amazing lunch organised by Mr Vamtha on a local river beach on the north of the island. Mr Vamtha was very respectful, caring, knowledgeable and fun through the entire day. Sunday in Phnom Penh Such a wonderful day around silk island in Phnom Penh with Vantha. He picked us up at home and drove us to all the amazing places around the island. We even spend our sunday lunch at "the beach" with all the local families having their lunch, bathing and of course doing Karaoke, so much for you quiet picnic, but definitely a local experience, and the food was delicious 😋!!! Great guide and driver for Angkor Wat Three friends and i spent 2 days exploring Angkor Wat with the excellent help of the 'Angkor Friendly Driver' company. We had Borey for a guide and he was awesome. Had a lot of knowledge, was very friendly, and spoke excellent English. The van was very comfortable, and getting into a cold A/C vehicle every couple hours was a true pleasure (Angkor Wat is very hot and humid.) The whole complex really requires a car if you want to see more than just the one main temple (which is huge and takes a whole morning to see), and using 'Angkor Friendly Driver' company really worked out well. A Friendly and Adventurous Driver - Vannen Meach Siem Reap is filled with many places that one can only see from movies like Tomb Raider or Indiana Jones. I was able to visit almost all of the larger UNESCO temples including the further Koh Ker and Prasat Preah Khan thanks to Mr. Vannen Meach assigned to my family by Mr. Vantha. Vannen is a responsible and careful driver. The roads has no lights at night, and random animals will run out to road in split seconds. He is also adventurous and accommodating as he made extra efforts to ensure that my difficult itinerary was served and even suggested extra destinations that he knew I would have liked to visit when given extra time.Unlike most drivers who would wait in the car, he went to several sites with us and serve as our guide as well as our photographer. He is fun and spoke good English. He explained historical accounts well and is a very good conversationalist, so there wasn't a need to hire additional tour guide for us. He would also help assist my elderly parents whenever they crossed difficult terrains.Overall, my family and I truly enjoyed the adventure and would like to thank him for taking care of us for the days we met. A very safe and enjoyable trip We enjoyed the whole trip a lot. Mr. Blue is a very reliable driver. The tour provided two tour guides for us in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Another excellent experience in Cambodia I used Angkor Friendly Driver when I visited Siem Reap in 2019 so upon returning in 2022 I did not hesitate to enlist his services again.Taking in a very similar itinerary to the last time, my driver Mr Engley could not do enough to make my visit memorable and ensured I got to see everything I wanted to at a pace that suited me.Mr Vantha personally called me to ensure everything was satisfactoryAs the tourists start to return to Cambodia post COVID, please don't bother with the large out of country tour operators. Cambodia has plenty of local tour operators who will do whatever it takes to make your trip memorable like Mr Vantha. Please give them your business. Excellent driver and tour, cannot recommend enough! Mr Vantha is extremely friendly, kind and helpful, tailoring our tour to exactly what we wanted to visit. Mr Vantha is a very safe driver with lots of knowledge about all of the temples, and we cannot recommend him enough! Best way of visiting the temples Oak was our English speaking driver and he was great. We didn’t have plans the day before we got there and I emailed the owner and he set us up quickly. He was so responsive and made it such an amazing experience. Oak picked us up from the airport at 7:30am, took us to our hotel to drop off stuff, then drove us around the temples. He was kind, polite and smart. He had cold bottles of water for us after each temple. We didn’t know where to eat and we took all of his suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all were great! If you’re going to see the temples this is the way to do it! Oak dropped us off at the front of each temple and would pick us up on the other side if possible. Another great tour. We took a tour with Mr Vantha last year and it was so good that we used his services again this year.He is a very safe driver and knows his job well.He is friendly,polite and full of information.He is always ready to provide you with ice cold water and cold cloths soaked in lemongrass water.His English is good and its easy to have a good conversation with him.Next time we are Siem Reap we will take him again.
