Great Memories
This guy is a good time. He was great at providing options to really make our family vacation streamlined and convenient. To say he was flexible is an understatement. He took some short videos of us along the way and edited some short memories for us to cherish, that was a nice added touch. A Truly Remarkable Human Being — Mr. Vantha A Brother for Life
I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to—because not doing so would be a huge mistake after the incredible experience we had with Mr. Vantha. He took such exceptional care of us throughout the entire tour that he truly deserves every bit of appreciation. Some of the things I genuinely admired about him: 1. Even before the tour began, he was extremely polite and well-mannered over the phone—always cheerful and very helpful in guiding us through routes, itineraries, tickets, and attractions. He planned everything based on real-time conditions rather than just relying on Google Maps, which made a big difference. 2. I changed my itinerary more than 15–20 times, yet he accommodated every single change patiently without ever showing frustration. 3. He is incredibly knowledgeable, especially about the history of Cambodia, India, and China. We met several guides during our trip, but none matched his depth of knowledge. Honestly, hiring him as a driver felt like getting an expert guide for free. 4. There were places we felt hesitant to explore on our own, and he personally joined us to guide and support us—something most drivers would never do. 5. Usually, we give drivers gifts as a token of appreciation, but for the first time in my life, a driver gave us souvenirs so we could remember him when we returned home. That was truly touching. 6. I have rarely seen someone so dedicated and genuinely happy to serve their clients as Mr. Vantha. 7. He was always punctual, which we deeply appreciated. 8. He constantly made sure we stayed hydrated—after walking in the hot weather, he always had cold water ready for us, which felt like nectar every time. 9. Even during the tour, we kept changing our plans, and not once did he complain or ask for extra money—something most drivers would have done immediately. 10. He is very adaptable—if you want to talk, he can have long and engaging conversations (we once spoke for five hours straight!), and if you prefer quiet, he completely respects your space. 11. Despite having had a difficult life since childhood, he remains hardworking, empathetic, and always cheerful. 12. He has a daughter whom he hopes to support through higher education, and I sincerely wish that both his dream and hers come true. 13. By the end of the trip, he didn’t feel like just a driver or guide—he felt like family. Personally, I would say he became like a brother to me. 14. I have traveled to many countries, but I have never been this impressed or emotionally moved by a driver/Person before. Mr. Vantha, I wish you a long and happy life. A great holiday in Cambodia thanks the "Angkor Friendly Driver"
I had the pleasure of working with Mr Vantha, the owner of "Angkor Friendly Driver" planning my recent trip to Cambodia. My visit to Siem Reap was February 20-23, 2026. We started working on an itinerary 2 months in advance. It was very easy to communicate with Mr. Vantha . He made great suggestions and was also flexible to changes back and forth in our communications. When I arrived in Siem Reap, I was met at the airport by my very capable guide/ driver named Vann Meach. He spoke English very well and was prepared, knowledgeable, a very good communicator and careful driver. I really enjoyed visiting many temples. markets and the floating village. Visiting Angkor Wat at sunrise. with Vann was a highlight. If you want a great experience in Cambodia I highly recommend this "Angkor Friendly Driver" and my guide Vann Meach. Highly recommended driver for Angkor Wat/Cambodia
Highly recommended and trustworthy driver for Angkor Wat/Cambodia!! Mr Vantha (Angkor Friendly Driver) was recommended by friends, who used him several years ago, for touring Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. He was so nice, and very prompt with communication via email and WhatsApp. We had a family of 5 (2 adults, 1 senior/grandma, and 2 teenage boys) that visited Angkor Wat in Dec 2025 for 3 days--he suggested a itinerary for touring the temples at Ankor Wat, which included pickup to/from the airport/our hotel. He is English speaking and drove a very nice mini van with comfy seats and good air conditioning (important since it was still very hot in Dec). He was also very flexible with our itinerary. When we arrived, I requested to see the sunset (beautiful--liked it better than sunrise), the sunrise (got picked up at 4:45 AM--beautiful, but teenage boys didn't like waking up so early), and boys wanted to see some historical museums.
