BIG CIRCUIT - SIEM REAP 1 DAY PRIVATE TOUR OPTIONS

For this tour, we have created two itinerary options

OPTION-1 : Big Circuit Tour (Full Day)

MORNING:

At 8:30 a.m., after breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel. First, we’ll assist you in purchasing your Angkor pass, and then we’ll begin our tour, visiting temples such as:

Preah Khan Temple – Duration: 1hour : Highlight: is one of the largest and most fascinating temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park. Built in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII, the temple was dedicated to his father and originally served as both a Buddhist monastery and a major center of learning. Surrounded by a wide moat and impressive gates, Preah Khan is a vast complex of corridors, towers, courtyards, and carvings. Visitors can explore its atmospheric ruins where giant trees and roots intertwine with ancient sandstone walls, creating a mysterious jungle-temple feeling. The temple also features beautiful carvings of devatas, garudas, and mythological scenes, reflecting both Buddhist and Hindu influences.

Neak Pean Temple – Duration: 1hour : Highlight: is a small but unique temple located in the middle of the Jayatataka Baray, a large ancient reservoir built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. The temple sits on a circular island and is surrounded by four smaller pools that represent the four sacred rivers of the earth in Hindu belief. In the center stands a sanctuary encircled by two intertwined stone serpents (nagas), which give the temple its name “Neak Pean,” meaning “coiled serpents.”

Ta Som Temple – Duration: 1hour : Highlight: is a small but very charming temple built in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. The temple was dedicated to the king’s father and is part of the famous Angkor temple complex. Ta Som is well known for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful jungle surroundings. The temple is relatively small, but it features impressive stone carvings, quiet courtyards, and galleries that reflect the architectural style of the Bayon period.

East Mebon Temple – Duration: 1hour : Highligh: is a 10th-century temple built during the reign of King Rajendravarman II and dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The temple once stood on a small island in the center of the ancient East Baray reservoir, but today the water has disappeared, leaving the temple surrounded by land. Constructed mainly of brick, laterite, and sandstone, East Mebon is famous for its impressive multi-level pyramid structure. At each corner of the temple terraces stand large stone elephant statues, which are among the most distinctive and well-preserved features of the temple.

BREAK FOR LUNCH: 1:00 PM Have a quick local Cambodian lunch at a nearby restaurant or one of the stalls around Srah Srang – Duration: 1hour

AFTERNOON

Pre Rup Temple – Duration: 1hour : Highlight: is a large temple mountain built in the 10th century during the reign of King Rajendravarman II and dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The temple is constructed mainly of brick, laterite, and sandstone, giving it a warm reddish color that becomes especially beautiful at sunset. Pre Rup is designed as a stepped pyramid with several levels leading to the central towers at the top, symbolizing Mount Meru, the sacred mountain in Hindu cosmology. Visitors can climb the steep stairs to the upper terraces, where they are rewarded with wide panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and rice fields.

MORNING:

At 8:30 a.m, after breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel. First, we’ll assist you in purchasing your Angkor pass, and then we’ll begin our tour, visiting temples such as:

Ta Som Temple  – Duration: 1hour

East Mebon Temple  – Duration: 1hour

BREAK FOR LUNCH: Have a quick local Cambodian lunch at a nearby restaurant or one of the stalls around Banteay Srei Temple.

AFTERNOON:

Banteay Srei – Pink lady standstone Temple  – Duration: 1hour and 30mn

Highlight: is one of the most beautiful and unique temples in the Angkor region, located about 37 km north of Siem Reap. Built in the 10th century and dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, the temple is famous for its delicate carvings and stunning pink sandstone, which gives it the nickname “The Pink Lady Temple.” Unlike many larger temples in Angkor Archaeological Park, Banteay Srei is smaller in size but incredibly detailed. The walls, doorways, and pediments are covered with some of the finest and most well-preserved carvings in all of Angkor, depicting scenes from Hindu mythology with extraordinary craftsmanship. Because of its warm pink color and intricate decorations, the temple is especially beautiful in the early morning and late afternoon sunlight, when the sandstone glows with rich tones. Banteay Srei is often considered a jewel of Khmer classical art and one of the must-see temples when visiting the Angkor area.
