HIGHLIGHT: Buddha Kiri Cambodia, also known as Wat Puth Kiri, is a remarkable Buddhist site located atop a low-rise mountain in Trapaing Skea village, Trapaing Kranhong commune, Tram Kak district, Takeo province. Established in 2017 by four monks, the site features a monumental 10-meter-high Buddha statue at its summit, accessible via 199 steps flanked by approximately 2,000 golden Buddha statues. The founders aim to eventually house 84,000 Buddha statues, symbolizing the 84,000 passages of dharma in Buddhist texts. The site has become a popular destination for both worship and tourism, attracting numerous national and international visitors, especially on weekends.
